I hear Brian Boyle and Michael Del Zotto sobbing across the Hudson as Prust packs to go to Montreal...
there goes another great bromance.
How's about Ray Whitney going for the payday? Never thought he'd leave Phoenix. For their sake, I hope Shane Doan decides to stay put.
Brodeur decided to stay in the fold (clearly, the other teams were offering 2 year contracts, and the agent charade was to get the Devs to ante-up for 2 years as well), and Hedberg resigned as well. This Parise thing has us all on pins and needles right now, particularly with rumors of an obscenely large offer by the hated Flyers. Paul Holmgren is clearly doing his best Glen Sather impression.
And finally, here comes the requisite pancake "joke" for Dustin Penner:
He can buy 650,000 boxes of Bisquick now.
Still freaking out that we signed Jordan Staal. Not happy about losing Brandon Sutter though. Pens fans will love him. Great player and a really funny guy.
Hope Ducks fans like Bryan Allen. He is a really good team guy. Shot blocking machine. But a really good teammate. We really liked him here. Not a big name guy but one we enjoyed having around.
I am also trying to process the return (again) of Joe Corvo.
Waiting for the other shoe to drop in a trade.
