2012 Playoffs: Stanley Cup Finals Game Three

#6 New jersey Devils / #8 Los Angeles Kings

Kings lead series 3-0 after a shocking 4-0 win

The first half of this game was dominated by the Devils. They had an extended five-on-three power play but could not convert. They were pushing and pushing but Jonathan Quick and the Kings defense were having none of it. NONE OF IT.

And then the Kings offense exploded. Who knew they could score that many goals? We didn't. But four goals later, the Kings had the lead and didn't look back. Now they're sitting on a 3-0 lead in the series and it doesn't look good for the Devils.

We said the Kings would win it in six. But we knew we would be wrong. This whole playoffs has been strange and weird and we wouldn't be surprised if this ended tomorrow. It's just what happens.
