Brad Richards was huge for the Rangers in this series and he scored the first goal to give his team the lead. It was a bug goal and one that the Rangers sorely needed after the last game.
The amazing play of Braden Holtby was truly inspiring and something great that Capitals fans can hang their hat on. We didn't think he was penetrable and the Capitals leaned heavily on his ability to come up big.
Of course Henrik Lundqvist held the fort for the Rangers and kept the Capitals at bay and off the scoresheet. He also had a huge game for the Rangers.
