#1 New York Rangers / #6 New Jersey Devils
Series tied 1-1 after a 3-2 win by the Devils
David Clarkson scored his third game-winner in the 2012 playoffs. Did you know that he also had thirty goals on the season? Yeah, uh, we forgot and then were surprised by that fact. Again.
You knew it wouldn't be easy for the Rangers or the Devils in this series. Not only will the games be won by probably one goal but we definitely think this series will go seven.
John Tortorella was his usual asshole self in the post-game interviews after being asked questions about the Rangers lack of effort and the benching of Gaborik in the third period. That's just his MO.

Other News:
- Canada was eliminated by the Slovaks in World Championships Semi-finals. Stunned and shocked. It was mostly because of awful penalties taken by the Canadians during the third period.
- The US was eliminated by Finland in another sort of shocker. We are shaking our heads at these boys. We had such high hopes, again.
Petryface happened, as well.
- The Oilers have chosen not to renew Tom Renney's contract. Big news and something we all have really mixed feelings about.
- This video, footage from the Playbook the NHLPA gave Hartnell, has killed our Curtis.
Literally, kinda, in a way.
