2012 Playoffs: Semi-finals Day Eleven

#1 New York Rangers / #7 Washington Capitals
Rangers lead series 3-2 after another OT win

Who scored? What? You're kidding. Marc Staal? The Staal boy? Whoa.

Also, when was the last time that a team actually scored more than once on a double-minor? It's been quite some time, right? Good for the Rangers though and it was nice to see a game end in a respectable amount of time in OT.

#3 Phoenix Coyotes / #4 Nashville Predators
Coyotes win series 4-1 after a 2-1 win in Phoenix

If you know us then you know that we had pretty much all our hopes and dreams riding on the Predators representing in the Cup Finals. Looks like those hopes and dreams have been dashed against the rocks violently and ripped to shreds. Or something like that.

The Coyotes were the better team, the more coherent team and Mike Smith played lights out. The Predators didn't have a chance it seemed.

But we were very proud of Colin Wilson and how after being put into the lineup, he was the Predators best player. There's always next season, right?
