The Ryan Malone Wheaties Award
John Tavares
He scored today (doesn't count but kinda does) in yet another losing cause but kept up his nine-game point streak. If he was on another team he would he the talk of the NHL right now. He's good, scary good.

Tavares is one of the players that causes other fans to have to endure my "THAT IS JOHN FRICKING TAVARES! DON'T LET HIM TOUCH THE PUCK!" cheers. Canes/Isles is the first game I have sat close to the ice (7th row center ice). Homeslice was crazy good and crazy fast. He was impressive to watch.
