Now that I'm developing an affection for the Stars thanks to Shanny (and one I'm sure I'll curse her for down the stretch) I can comment on these vids--Niklas is a great interviewee! Very natural and conversational. And Studly well.....just....well. Ahem. I really want Ralph to settle down next to Burrito next...tho' Burrito might steal the whole shebang from him.

Also, regarding the 1-3-1...I watched that game and have to say that I thought the Flyers tactic was GENIUS...in the first period. The fact that the Bolts were just sorta 'uh....what do we do now, boss?' kinda amazed me. However, for an entire game to be that way--and for other teams to do it--it's the hockey equivalent of a sit-in. Seems like a great idea at the time but ultimately ends up as meh.

I don't know if you can say 'nope, you can't use this as a play', if that's necessarily fair. But by the same token, until someone finds a more intelligent creative solution than standing still, what else is there?

bwhahahaha...it's all part of my master plan to convert everyone into a Stars fan. Although, the boys did have a rough couple of games this weekend. I believe they'll get back on track.

It's also exciting to see five Dallas Stars on the all-star ballot. And because I'm a nerd I'm making campaign posters for all of them.

Before I go..."Let me see your pussy cat face" Hahahaha :D

Is Niklas Grossman Finnish? It was weird listening to him and thinking he was using Tuukka's voice. And Burwood needs to step it up. I kept expecting him to pop up again during the interview. Clearly he misses his "soulmate" Sharpie.
I started keeping up a bit with the Stars when Burish joined the team and now that they have my ginger, Ryder, I'm hooked.

@Cat - Big Gross is Swedish. A Swede & a Finn with the same accent? That's interesting.

@Shanny - well Sweden & Finland are next to each other. Maybe they all hang out a lot? ;)
