Have you ever heard something during a broadcast and said, "WTF, when did that happen?" or "Huh, didn't know that"?
Well, we do it all the time. We always hear something that makes us ponder for a moment and think, "Well, that's a fun fact."
Here is where we will recap some of the fun things we've heard or read in the past month.
- the Florida Panthers defense is leading the defense corps of the NHL in offense
- Chicago Blackhawks Jonathan Toews is leading in faceoff percentage at 61% (centers who have played in all games)
- Zac Rinaldo from the Philadelphia Flyers is leading the NHL in PIMs
- Half of Carolina Hurricanes's Brandon Sutter's goals are shorthanded
- Johan Franzen and Vincent Lecavalier lead the league with four game-winning goals
- Craig Smith of the Nashville Predators pulled a Patrik Stefan the other night...well, almost
-&-
If you heard any fun facts or anything interesting, email them to us and we shall do this again.

These are NHL facts, but they're not necessarily facts I would call "fun." I am much more taken with fun NHL gossip and "facts" that everybody knows are 1000% on the money but just won't admit/acknowledge. Like Stan Bowman's crack/peyote problem and Dan Boyle's recurring hemorrhoids that have already ruptured like three times this season.
And okay bitches - don't EVEN THINK about laughing at the expense of my Bob Smith. Would YOU have the courage to take a photo looking like this?! I think not! Dayum. Boys +/- retainers + mouthguards= HOT. And he's even hotter when he's mad/frustrated. Just look at how he chomps on his mouthguard (!!!), all verklempt and pissed at himself. He's the type who gets better when things get worse, so... Let's all see who's laughing when he's nominated for the Calder next spring. Of course, he will lose to the Nuge but hey - he's a comely cheesehead who came outta nowhere to take some names, kick some ass and miss a no-brainer empty netter. What have WE all done lately? I took up trapezing, got certified in PowerPoint and got a bikini wax. That's about it. Yawn.
MG when I first heard about this I was so ready to laugh and point in the general western direction. Then I saw the video and he looked like someone had run over his Christmas puppy with a doublewide semi. So...no laughing, no pointing. Rough.
