More Of The Same Part 2

There are crazy trades going down so far in this young trade deadline season.

- Mike Fisher or Mike Underwood as we like to call him was traded to the Nashville Predators and the Ottawa Senators received a first-round pick in 2011 and a conditional pick in the 2012 draft.

- The Islanders acquired Al Montoya from the Coyotes for a sixth round draft pick in 2011. Because their back-up needed a back-up.

It's not surprising that these trades are happening already but it might make for a boring Trade Deadline Day. Last year was a little 'eh' so we were hoping for more excitement this season.

There are hardly any big names this season going anyway. Kaberle maybe for Toronto but he's been on the rumor tradeblock since the 2005-2006 season. No big names means that little trades are going to happen.

We are always most interested in what the Penguins are going to do with all of these injuries lately. It's going to be interesting.

Is it wrong that I was actually excited that Mike Fisher got traded because I think he and the Predators are a good match?

No it isn't....as much as it kills/killed me to see Ladd and Buff go to ATL, (or...snif...Skille....to FL...whimper)I was a big enough girl to admit that it's the best for them. No one ever looks as beautiful as when they're walking out the door....

(And Verbeauty to the Flyers?? AWK-WARDDDD!!!)
