Onto more, ahem grown-up things.
- The Philadelphia Flyers did something right and signed Claude Giroux to a contract extension.
- You can count the Kings out of the playoffs now...just kidding.
- After this induction into the HHOF, there is talk of who should be voted in for 2011. TSN's Netcrashing is on it.
- Darren Dreger reports that there is going to be an entire overhaul concerning the All Star game. From what the article says, we're kind of excited. It sounds like it could work.

I lovelovelove your reference to Joni Mitchell and the slap fight is always highly amusing, especially when it's two big guys!
The funniest thing was when they were presenting the new All Star concept on Versus last night--the criticism was that the captains would get lobbied to pick certain players. "Can you imagine Ovie trying to lobby Crosby to choose who he wanted?". Yeah, cuz I think they'd really meet up at Starbucks and debate over the merits of rookies over some pumpkin spice lattes.

I actually can, especially the pumpkin spice latte bit, haha. In the end though, I think that it will end with an arm wrestling best of three between the two of them.
I feel bad laughing!! I love Mike Green because I am dorksquad but his fighting is making my life hard. He spends the first 30% of any fight skating backwards away from his opponent. And my favorite tweet ever from last night - "@dupweeeee: Watching @greenlife52 'fight' is like watching a poodle struggle during a bath."
