In the Washington/New Jersey game, Pierre-Luc Letourneau-Leblond instigated a fight in the last five minutes and was automatically suspended for one game.
Then Mike Green and Ilya Kovalchuk had the first slap-fight of the season.

Concussions are rampant already...
First one to get the bug was John Tavares and Henrik now has a bounty out for Adam Burish's head.
And the next one to get a concussion is the St. Louis Blues' resident agitator and middle-weight Cam Janssen. He could miss up to two weeks.

Pretty sure that the guy you wanted to be captain of the Canucks was in the penalty box with less than five minutes to play in the home opener. And the Kings tied it up and then won in the shootout.

So...umm...yeah...that article about the Tavares hit is WRONG. Burish didn't elbow him & I have the youtube video to prove it:

skip to about the 34/35 sec mark. As you can see there was no elbowing. Burish didn't even hit him in the head. It was a freakish incidental contact accident. So...now, maybe, Henrik can take the hit off of Bur?
