One-A-Day: Minnesota Wild

Minnesota Wild

We've always thought of the Wild as the team that...actually, we never think about the Wild. The last time we actually watched a Minnesota Wilda game was when the Penguins played them.

Maybe, we could have changed the channel when that happened. We do that sometimes.

On a more serious note, the Wild didn't make the playoffs last season even with a new GM and a new coach.

Fletcher is changing the complexion of the whole team little by little, including the minor league teams.

Martin Havlat is fun.

We've always liked him, even if he is injury-prone. Like as if a jinx was put on his head.

Maybe we should start paying attention to the Wild...

General Manager - Chuck Fletcher

Coach - Todd Richards

Team Captain - Mikko Koivu

Player(s) everyone should love - Kyle Brodziak because he's got a pretty face

Player we don’t love - Cal Clutterbuck (still, no matter what)

Who they got - John Madden, Eric Nystrom, Matt Cullen

Who they lost - John Scott, Andrew Ebbett, Derek Boogaard

Located at - Xcel Energy Center

Hotness level (on a scale from 1 to 10): 4

They're not circus ugly but they're also not pretty enough to warrant a 5.

The Wild roster is pretty boring, filled with nondescript guys who are okay to look at but don't really get us going.

Kyle Brodziak was prettier when he was an Oiler and he was fatter. True story.
