One-A-Day: Los Angeles Kings

Los Angeles Kings

Our baby boys are all growed up.

The Kings made the playoffs last season to much hoopla. We were just excited to see our little boys playing hockey when everyone thought they would be playing golf.

It was fun to see the emergence of Jonathan Quick as the netminder of the future for the Kings. He's calm and cool and usually in the right place at the right time.

We weren't happy (as Pens fans) to see that the Kigns money lured Rob Scuderi away but he helped Drew Doughty and even Jack Johnson become better defensemen. At least he was always there to clean up their messes.

This season will be an exciting one for us because we think that the Kings can only build on this. They will hopefully be a team that will make the playoffs season after season.

Jonathan Quick because he's adorable, American and has a baby-face and Drew Doughty because he's like a pretty gardener that we all know and love

Player we don’t love - Ryan Smyth, yes he may be former Captain Canada but still, the man cries too much for us

Who they got - Alexei Ponikarovsky

Who they lost - Alexander Frolov, Raitis Ivanans, Sean O'Donnell

Located at - Staples Center

Hotness level - 6

While we are not fans of Dustin Brown or his child-making abilities, we do think that he is cute sometimes and so the Kings get a six instead of a five. (Don't let Henrik know). The Kings have some of the best up-and-coming hotties, Jonathan Bernier and Oscar Moller and Brayden Schenn and Alec Martinez...the list goes on forever.

LA is my new "Team to Watch". Well, they are tied with Colorado. Watch out NHL, there is some talent there.
