Puck-Gate

Someone once told us that if we had Chris Pronger on our team, we would love him. Unfortunately, we would have to change allegiances if he somehow became a Penguin.

And unfortunately we know that he would help the defense out immensely but at what cost? His attitude is one that we don't think is beneficial for a team. Unless you're the Flyers.

And his actions lately just convinced us that we would have made the right decision.

He's been childish in the media day interviews and the postgame pressers.

Then he steals the game puck after losing games one and two.

It's all part of the mindgames.

Vintage Chris Pronger.

And of course Peter Rabbit and Captain Mikey would find it hilarious.

But it's all right because the Hawks play their own mind games.

We love all of the media scrutiny during the Stanley Cup Finals.

As a Flyer's Fan... I love Chris Pronger... I have to admit that I didn't know much about the guy before this season, except that he was one big dude and a damn good defense man.
However, in the beginning of the season he bothered me with the stuff that the media kept saying was possibily going on in the locker room. Supposedly Pronger and Richards weren't playing nice together... and I could see where that could happen. Pronger definitely is a big voice in the locker room.
After the Olympics things finally started to gel with the team and Richie and Prongs were finally working together... Plus Richards looked like he did a couple years ago when he only wore the A on his jersey...
Pronger definitely has a larger than life persona... the guy cracks me up. I loved the little "talking hand" thing he did during the game when everyone was yapping at each other... He is exactly the type of player Philly sports fans love. We love people who get under the skin of others and still look good doing it.
I can understand the hatered non-fans have for him. But I'm glad he's on my side.

Once question for all you ladies... what do you think of this series so far?! Game 1 was an exciting game of pond hockey... and Monday's game was damn good... I know my team is down 2-0, but really I can't complain because some awesome hockey is being played on that ice!
