2010 Playoffs: Semi-Finals Day Twelve

1. Pittsburgh Penguins / 4. Montreal Canadiens

Canadiens oust the Penguins and continue onto the Conference Finals

The Habs came out gunning and the Pens never recovered from it.

Let's just say that the Habs deserve to be in the Conference Finals which we never thought we would say this playoffs.

We don't know how long Jaroslav Halak can last playing like he does. He is definitely on a hot streak that just won't end.

2. Boston Bruins / 3. Philadelphia Flyers

Flyers force a game seven with a 2-1 win

Um, yeah, hello? When you're down 3-0 in a series you're supposed to lose. Didn't anyone tell the Flyers.

Figures they would be stubborn bastards and not know to go away.

Well, game seven should be fun. We're curious to see who plays the Habs in the Conference Finals.

I guess all my excitement paid off... I feel like Santa came early for Christmas!!
I'm not just saying this because I'm a Flyer's fan... but really, this team could be the story of the year if they win game 7... we have literally gone through 6 goalies, to the point that I think my cousin has even played between the pipes.
Last night the Bruin's ECHL affiliate, the Reading Royals (who are actually my home team that frequently go to watch), also blew a 3-0 series lead and lost game 7 last night. So hopefully this is an Omen for the Bruins.
I have to admit though... my heart broke a little bit with Looch scored the goal last night to kill Leighton's 59 min shutout. I still have a soft spot for Looch since DNF.

Aww what's the matter, girls? You can't bear to Photoshop the Penguins logo on a tombstone?

Come on, be consistent.

I'm pretty sure we can handle a loss since we handled the Penguins being the worst team in the league and almost leaving Pittsburgh only a few short years ago.

Come on, grow up.
