Aftermath Of The Olympics

- Jarome Iginla feels that Sidney Crosby's goal was "so fitting". And Jonathan Toews agrees.

- Speaking of Toews, he really impressed some people in the media. We just want to say, "Duh, thanks for finally getting the memo."

- Ryan Miller was named the MVP of the tournament.

- Another revelation: Shea Weber. He was a "tower of power" for Canada. He was the main shutdown d-man against the Russians.

- The "tower of power" for USA was Erik Johnson. He had a hell of a tournament.

- Surprise performers of the Olympics...article.

- According to Puck Daddy, the US players flights were scheduled for the afternoon on Sunday, right when they would be playing for gold.

- Ron Wilson lauds his players and says that the best team did not win. USA was undefeated until the gold medal game so we kind of have to agree.

- Speaking of the Americans, they aren't happy with losing to the Canadians. And they aren't going to forget that soon.

- Steve Yzerman said that Crosby's "got a little destiny to him." Is that like Captain? Is Sid going to be power-stancing on people and things for the rest of the season? That would be awesome.

Trying to post but it's not working - following deadline day all day and the teams who sent a lot of players to the Games need to get some depth.
