Olympics Hockey: Day Four

Sweden vs Belarus - 4-2

Jonas Gustavsson was in net and the Swedes still won.

Sitting on the bench, Lundqvist was spotted taking a nap and writing a love letter to Sean Avery.

Unfortunately, Daniel Alfredsson had two goals.

It's like that man and Johan Franzen cannot be kept off the scoresheet no matter what and in any level of hockey. It's like a rule.

Czech Republic vs Latvia - 5-2

Tomas Vokoun had yet another strong game. We can hear Pierre McGuire singing his praises now.

Jaromir Jagr was the star of the show. Yet again. Everyone is in love with that mullet.

We were excited to see that David Krejci scored.

Martin Havlat did nothing. We just like this picture.

Finland vs Germany - 5-0

To say that this was a domination would be an understatement.

Nicklas Backstrom had the shutout and Kimmo Timonen had two goals. Teemu Selanne also broke a record for the most points in Olympic play. Boom.

It should also be said that Jarkko Ruutu had a goal. He may be leading Olympic scoring right now.

And who said that this moustache was a good idea.

Where's a good upset when you need one? Couple of decent games, but nothing really nail biting. Fun to watch Jagr play. But it all pales in comparison with the anticipation of the US/Canada game. Bring it people.

I'm with Cat - we need a good upset, maybe starting with the US/Canada game, I don't know; love them both so am a little conflicted!

It is so good to see Jagr's hair again - I didn't realize how much it had been missed by me!
