It was a loss? Really?

Because it didn't feel like it, for reals. We forgot the score as soon as we left the arena. We are enjoying this "whatever happens, happens because it's the preseason" feeling while it lasts.
Some of the fans around us were out for blood but we couldn't be bothered to even pay attention to them.
Matt Cooke's goal was awesome. It was the end of a powerplay and Goligoski shot it towards the net and Cooke tipped it in from between his legs.
Speaking of the powerplay, the Leafs couldn't stay out of the penalty box. There must have been a hot girl sitting next to the box and they all had to check her out for themselves. We think even Ron Wilson went to the box.
We liked the Malkin and Caputi together.

Caputi was all over the net, standing in front of defensemen and trying his hardest to deflect and follow Malkin around the zone.
Goligoski and Letang were all serious business. They were paired together on the powerplay and at the end when the Pens were down by one.
We can't believe that we have to wait two weeks to see another game. It's going to be a very, very long two weeks that's for sure.

You are so right - it is preseason, and Luca and Geno were great!
I love the preseason - first, it's new hockey. Second, it doesn't count when your team get beaten. Still, I can't wait for the regular season to begin! Bring on the heartache!
