They tried, they honestly did. But the playoffs just weren't in the plans for the Panters this season.

We would feel sorry but it seems like every season the Panters kick the Penguins ass in every game they play in Mellon Arena sooo we don't feel that bad.

Just like the Senators, the Panters had some issues with a star player. Jay Bouwmeester didn't want anything to do with the Panters yet couldn't get traded.

Then he signed with the Flames just for the hell of it.

That's the kind of player we like. Not.

Maybe the Panters will make the playoffs this season when it counts not in December. Was that mean?

We kinda waffle with the hotness level of the Panters. There are times when we think that they're actually not that bad and there are times when we wonder why the league won't get rid of them just because of how ugly they are. But we're mean like that.
