One-A-Day: Atlanta Thrashers

Atlanta Thrashers

If you thought that the Lightning organization was in bad shape, we present you with the Thrashers.

It seemed like they could never catch a break. Made the playoffs but then lost in four games to the Rangers. Star player didn't want to play there anymore. Top rookie broke his leg in the first few months of the season.

But things are starting to look better we think. Ilya Kovalchuk is the captain and looks like he wants to stay. Former rookies are stepping into bigger roles, Bryan Little, Ondrej Pavelec and Zach Bogosian.

And the up-and-coming kids seem to be ready to play.

We could just sit here in front of our screens and just rip on the Thrashers but there's really nothing to rip on them for anymore. Except the fact that the in-game announcer has to let fans know when it's an icing or an offsides.

Poor Thrashers. It's been rough times for them. Not sure how much hope to have for them this year.

I am with Ms. Conduct add in Hedberg and it goes to a 6. I saw dman Ron Hainsey at the US Men's hockey camp these past two days and he is huge and handsome...so now, I think a 7 is in order.
