Attack Of The Kostiggins.....Game Fifty- Nine: Canadiens At Penguins

Usually we aren't excited for games involving the Montreal Canadiens but it was the first home game for the interim coach and for our number one defenseman.

Neither disappointed.

There were quite a few Montreal fans present and they definitely made their presence known after each Hab goal.

Andrei Kostutsyn was robbed of a Third Star selection. The star selections are like the All Stars selection but seriously, he had four points on the night. Maybe it's because of all the controversy.
Speaking of controversy, the media in Montreal are ridiculous.

There were rumors that Kris Letang was traded as soon as he was scratched. Whatever. Like that's ever going to happen.

This is a shortened recap because we honestly have nothing to say besides Carey Price and Marc-Andre Fleury being absolute sieves.

The only thing worse was the fact that Price apparently thinks that goaltenders don't need to wear socks under their pads.

We have it on good authority that Don Cherry is writing up a rant about how it's so dangerous to have your naked calf exposed like that and kids in juniors shouldn't do it.

Like we said before, whatever.

We want to hand out a few congratulations...

to Dan Bylsma for his first win as an NHL coach

to Petr Sykora for playing in his 900th game

to Ryan Whitney for getting his 150th career point.

This picture is why we wake up every morning...

Links we have for you guyz...

-NHL.com did a feature on Kevin Bieksa. Who you ask? Oh, only the toughest and meanest defenseman that Vancouver has.

-A Top Ten list of who is going to get traded. Kill us.

-Do you know Patrik Berglund? You should. He's cute, Swedish and a St. Louis Blue. What's not to love?

-This article is two old-timers opinions on who should make Team Canada in 2010. Where's the Shea Weber love?

-Jonny and Patty whore themselves out to Chevrolet and get Tahoes in return.

Is it us or does Jonny just look smashing in that coat? And there's this primal urge in us to cut Patty's hair, god the boy seriously needs a stylist or a girlfriend.

-The NHL's Biggest Disappointments according to Yahoo!Sports. Yes, the Penguins are on there. And no, they do not blame Ryan Whitney.

-Everybody's favorite pest opens up about playing in the ECHL and why he loves Steve Bernier...okay, we made that part up. Say hello to Alex Burrows.

-While on the Canucks site we also found these Behind The Lens photo galleries of the Canucks and their trip out East to the other Canadian teams.

Calgary Day 2

Ottawa Day 1

Ottawa Day 2

Toronto Day 1

Seriously, if you like the Canucks or even remotely know them check those pictures out. We can only imagine what the Penguins ones would look like if they ever did that. A sad, sad dream of ours...

-And last but not least...

We want to adopt this precious child...a mascot for the blog if you will.

The Canucks pictures honestly made our night and we're not even partial Canucks fans. All we've got to say is thank god for ScreenGrab Pro, haha.

Thank you! We work really hard to find the best and newest links. Glad you appreciate them.

I know I'm really late the game here (I just stumbled upon your blog and had to read all the back posts), but, MY GOD, is that child ridiculously cute. I hope that's how he warms up every game. I mean, why doesn't everyone else down there not find it hysterical?

Oh, and those long jackets the Canucks had on in the second set of pictures... I cannot find words. Gorgeous.
