Paul Steigerwald is a walking, talking, breathing jinx. Every time he mentions something, whether it's a player or a curse, that player scores or the Penguins lose.
We wish he would just shut up.
The only time that the jinx didn't work was when the Penguins played in Atlanta and won. But that's because the Thrashers are failing this season.
All Paul talked about was the failure of Petr Prucha this season. And what happens? Prucha scores the game-tying goal.
Who woulda thought? (end sarcasm)
Things we noticed while sighing at Mr. Steigerwald.....
-When Ryan Callahan hit Petr Sykora, Bob Errey said, "Who does he think he is? Dirty Harry?" Wow, he is on crack.
-The power play sucked...nothing new.
-Alex Goligoski stopped our hearts by hitting the post/crossbar on the first power play.
-The fight between Colton Orr and Eric Godard was yawn-worthy.
-We can't believe that Mark Eaton hadn't scored as a Penguin until last night. That shocked us.
-Blowing 2-goal leads ain't cool but we still love this team.
-What the hell happened to Tyler Kennedy? And why are we extremely upset over this "undisclosed injury" business?
-And losing Mike Zigomanis isn't cool either.
-Dany Sabourin had an average game. He still makes us kind of nervous in goal. We love him and think that he's spectacular but we miss Fleury.
-The Shootout was lame but we were so proud of Kris Letang, bitch finally scored. Hopefully, it boosts his confidence.
-At least the Penguins got a point?
