Real Life Can Wait.....Game Twenty-Nine: Islanders At Penguins

Penguins 9 - Islanders 2

Only two words can do this game justice.....Petr Sykora.

Nothing else matters.

Not even John Curry's first legitimate win.

Or the awesome play of rookie Tim Wallace.

Or Pascal Dupuis's first NHL hat trick.

We have been waiting for 44 games (or 39...depends on who you talk to) for this day.

And to be there in person to see it was fantastic. There was a buzz like no other at the Mellon.

Seriousness is our mortal enemy but sometimes you just gotta bust it out. And Petr Sykora makes us all emotional.

Goal #1 was vintage Petr, streaking down the wing and finding that soft spot.

Goal #2 was from a sweet (and highly underrated pass) by Alex Goligoski.

And...

Goal #3, thank you Sidney Crosby.

Probably one of the best moments of our young lives.
