Most of the time they're Western Conference teams because Eastern Conference teams make us hate life. And we never know who to root for, the team we hate or the team that will not affect the Penguins spot in the standings.

First off, we'd like to thank Marty Turco for remembering to close his five-hole. The Dallas Stars defeated the Detroit Red Wings 3-1.
We were surprised that it was the Stars who beat the Red Wings because no one can besides the Chicago Blackhawks who are like their kryptonite.

Speaking of Chicago, the Hawks beat the Colorado Avalanche in regulation.
We're sure that Joel Quenneville was smirking behind that creepy mustache when the final buzzer rang.

The Flames, who are the Jekyll and Hyde of the NHL, lost to the Florida Panthers.
Normally, we would be angry that an Eastern team beat a Western one but it's Florida. What are they gonna do? Most damage they could do is move from third to second in the Southeast Division.

The Penguins are at the Wach thus afternoon. And we've resurrected this old photoshop.
We're not hoping or predicting anything because we're jinxes. And Paul Steigerwald told us to shut our mouths.
