Giving To Charity Makes Us Feel Less Like Skanks

We here at the Hockey Junkies have always wanted to be part of something bigger than ourselves. And that's why we love giving to charities.

That and the fact that it doesn't hurt for people to think that you are a good person when you're actually rotten inside.

We have started and are now promoting three charities that are very close to our hearts. They are:

Pants For Whits

The Feed Brandon Sutter Fund

Vi Ar Vackra, Ge Oss Trevliga Saker (We Are Beautiful, Give Us Nice Things)

For the past two seasons, Ryan Whitney has not bought a new pair of jeans. He is seen around the city of Pittsburgh in the same pair of jeans whether he's dancing at Diesel or visiting children.

It's quite disturbing.

We are starting a charity to get Ryan Whitney a new pair of pants. There is nothing we love more than a man in a perfect pair of jeans, especially hockey player bodies.

And Whitney's jeans are not flattering. Like at all. In fact, they're kind of sad. We just want him to buy a decent pair of jeans, ones that are perfect for his body type.

A few suggestions would be:


Clinton Kelly and Stacy London are coming to your apartment Ryan Whitney. "What Not To Wear" is outside your door.


And like those creepy ladies who refuse to give up their Jordache jeans and join the 2000's, he will come out of the dressing room wearing these.


Wow. We are speechless after posting those.

In conclusion, we are asking for donations for the Pants for Whits charity so that he can get a new pair of jeans because apparently 4 million dollars a year isn't enough to get jeans that actually fit.

Everyone who is a fan of an Atlantic Division team knows who Brent Sutter is. You should also know who his son is...Brandon Sutter.

And you should also know what Manorexia is. If you don't that's why there's Wikipedia. Definition.

Brandon Sutter needs to eat. And his father doesn't let him.


Unless, he wins face-offs.

We just want Brandon to fatten up, to eat Ho-Hos and Big Macs until he can't see his feet anymore.

Is that so irrational?

So, we are asking people to donate to this charity to help a boy in need. To help a kid get the nourishment and food that he needs to keep playing in the NHL and surviving a hit by oldsters like Doug Weight.

This charity is all about the Swedes.

We just think that Swedes are an underrated source of fashion and beauty in the NHL and even the world.

There should be more Swedes as models and as baby-makers.


Swedes are stylish, have hot accents and know how to perfectly coif their hair.



This charity is just an excuse to talk and post pictures about Swedes.
