There was a gaggle of girls from the Hockey Junkies representing and we all brought cameras.
Now, just so you know, we are not those girls who scream when Kris Letang merely flashes a smile. We are the girls who silently pine after him when he does. Creepy? You bet.
Anyway, the jerseys are nothing new. We all knew what they would look like but they honestly didn't disappoint.
Paul Steigerwald was the emcee for the event that was a half hour max. And he had the players ask the audience trivia questions to receive a Dick's gift card.
Kris Letang couldn't read some of the words on the card so Kennedy and Goligoski helped him with some words.

Eric Godard is really good with the fans and he seems really nice. Who would have thought?

When Kennedy asked his question, this crazy lady jumped up and claimed to be his future wife. She had to be about thirty. And Kennedy was so freakin' embarrassed it was hilarious.
Bissonnette offered to make her gift card into a ring so he could propose. We know that Kennedy's gonna kill him later.
Some dude in the back of the crowd yelled, "I love you Biz Nasty" and Paul Bissonnette laughed and yelled back, "Dad, get outta here."

Then they threw t-shirts.
And one hit Evgeniya in the face. That was from Bissonnette whom she now says has it out for her.
But to make her night better, we got a pic of her and Steigerwald just cause he was there. And he was pretty cool about it.

Then, being girls, we were hungry after jumping on the various stands and racks that blocked our vision so we decided to go eat at Olive Garden.
We love the Olive Garden. Nothing's better than fake-Italian that's cheap, seriously.
While waiting for our table outside, we were all talking about what just transpired at Dick's complete with re-enactments for each other about how they acted when Kris Letang got mobbed by people (not us, we swear).
Then Evgeniya looks up and is momentarily speechless.
Who comes walking by but Eric Godard and Tyler Kennedy. They go into the restaurant smiling and nodding at us.
We literally stopped moving and as soon as the doors closed, we broke out into excited girl-whispers and laughter.
Then they leave suddenly, meeting up with the other three guys in the parking lot. Apparently, a twenty-five minute wait was too long.
The second time they walked past, we were still talking excitedly and one of us was even crying. Don't ask, it's a long story. Godard smiled down at us and said, "Good night ladies."
Wow.
We aren't usually fan-girls but sometimes this happens and we turn into bubbling piles of hormones and "OMG-ness". We can't help it.
Oh, what a night.
