It Still Counts.....Week One Awards

We know that it's only been four games for the regular season but we wanted to start handing out awards because it makes us feel better about ourselves.

That and we just wanted an excuse to talk about B.J. Crombeen.

The Ryan Malone Wheaties Award: Tyler Kennedy

He had an absolutely dominating performance against Ottawa in the first game. And he was everywhere during the second game.

We were going to pick him for this award even before he scored the game winner in overtime but just the fact that he did made our choice that much easier.

We aren't so sure that TK is first line material but it was fun to see him get to play with Crosby for a few shifts. Because we all know that Therrien is allergic to keeping lines together.

Hottie Of The Week: B.J. Crombeen

Yes, it's still the preseason for Dallas but we couldn't resist picking him for the Hottie of the Week award.

Last night, he had a fight and scored a goal in a loss against the Edmonton Oilers. We're keeping our fingers crossed that he stays with the Stars because we have to admit that we think he's adorable.

And most girls like boys who are violent and fight the opposition for trivial infractions, it's just in our genetic make-up as female hockey fans.
