The title of this post is from one of our best friends who we saw at the game on Saturday. We appreciate any form of 'Your Mom' jokes but hers just really crack us up. Every once in a while, she comes up with a good Your Mom joke and we have to document it.
We were going to do a recap of the Penguins-Devils game on Saturday but then we got sidetracked by Center Ice.
Just a few things we noticed about the game at the game.....
-Before the game, Noodles said, "Guarantee you, Zach Parise scores. He's the only Devil who knows what the net looks like." We hate her.
-The opening video was pretty cool. We like the new marketing campaign idea. At least it's something different and the evolution is over.
-Tyler Kennedy on a line with Evgeni Malkin and Jordan Staal is pretty sweet. He's like a spark plug when on the ice. We love it.
-The potential of Petr Sykora on Sidney Crosby's line has Henrik jumping for joy. If that happens, she may just collapse.
-We may be bitter but Martin Brodeur is overrated like his stupid helmet.
-Marc-Andre Fleury is a beast. He played like it was the play offs and every minute mattered. We love that Fleury.
-Before Hal Gill's fight, Noodles said, "Have we ever seen Hal Gill fight in a Penguins uni?" The answer was a no until ten minutes later. And it was a really homosexual fight and that's why we loved it.
-Patrik Elias acted like he cured cancer when he scored. It deflected off of Gill's skate into the net. A couple people near us were mad at Gill. How is he supposed to stop that? It wasn't his fault that the game was still 1-0.
-When Zach Parise scored in OT, Brooks Orpik was chasing after him and smashed his head into the boards on purpose. It made the goal totally sting less.
-The pictures of Parise jumping on Travis Zajac are hilarious. We thought they won the Stanley Cup.
-A 34 shot differential is just sad. 15 shots on goal through three periods and overtime is ridiculous. The Devils defense isn't that good.
-&-
That's about all we had to say about the game. The crowd was kinda bleh but that's to be expected at a Devils game. We are hoping for a little more life at the Flyers game.
