Close Your Five-Hole Luke Schenn.....Game Six: Maple Leafs At Penguins

Pittsburgh Penguins-4 Toronto Maple Leafs-1

Don't get us wrong, we love Luke Schenn. And seeing him get victimized on at least three Sidney Crosby passes through the legs was kinda sad. Other than that, he had a great game.

Some things we noticed from the game at the game.....

-Sarah Marince didn't do the Canadian anthem justice. We missed Jeff Jimmerson.

-Bobby and Steigy were on crack during the third period. At one point they were discussing the nicknames for Native Americans in Nova Scotia that started with a fact brought up by Steigy about Sidney's great-grandmother being Native American. WTF? is all we've got to say.

-Fans around us were livid when Mark Eaton caused a too many men on the ice penalty. It was kinda iffy to us as was the high-sticking penalty called on Alex Goligoski. We saw the one they didn't call on Alex Steen but whatev, we aren't referees so our opinion doesn't matter.

-Nik Antropov scared us every time he had the puck.

-You could tell that is was gonna be a good night for Crosby. He just had that look in his eye. And it was on HNIC and we all know how much he loves playing on Canadian TV.

-Mark Eaton had a pretty average game. But even an average game for him is like the best game for Ryan Whitney.

-Rob Scuderi for Norris. We saw the sign at the last game and just want to spread along the word.

-Putting Malkin and Crosby on the same line always scares us. And no other line produced which makes us kinda worried. But it's only been one game and we don't like getting all worked up over nothing.

-After Petr scored, he gave Crosby this look that said it all. He always seems to be in wonder over what Sidney can do. Or maybe that he scored finally.

-Malkin jumping on Crosby after he scored his 100th goal was adorable. It's awesome to see that they don't like hate each other and that they genuinely want to see each other do well. Plus, Malkin wrapping his long-ass leg around Crosby makes us laugh.

-At the end of the game, the players were mobbing Crosby and Malkin and it was nice to see that camaraderie.

-&-

There are probably other things that we noticed at the game but we were too lazy to find out what they were.
