That was the catchphrase at TheHockeyJunkies lair for the entire play offs. We just couldn’t help it. Bryan Murray gave so much joy to our lives.

The Senators employ such great players…for the butt of our jokes. We constantly make fun of Dany Heatley’s weak ankles. And Jason Spezza’s donkey laugh. And their entire defense situation.
He cannot keep his stick down....ever
Our comedy routines are based on the Senators. It was great to see Chris Phillips’ own goal in game five of the Finals could give us so much fodder. Hate to say it but we kinda laughed when it happened. We blame our dislike of Ray Emery for feeling that way.

TSN has been making a big deal about ‘all the changes’ to the team this off season. But we just don’t see it. They signed Jarkko Ruutu…okay, we can see how that is a change and got rid of Ray Emery but…Martin Gerber is still their number one goaltender and Daniel Alfredsson is still their captain.
What a dick
It seems that the last few seasons, the Penguins have been tied to Ottawa. With the play offs in 2007, Thanksgiving 08 and then the playoffs in 2008. Thanksgiving 08 was such a huge part of last season, it shall never be forgotten. And it was awesome to see how dejected Gerber was after Ruutu scored.
We think it is all a conspiracy. Murray signed Ruutu because he was sick and tired of Jarkko totally burning his team. We still giggle when Jason Spezza punched Ruutu out of frustration.
Oh, question.
